Foundations Project works specifically with families using homeless support services or families who are at risk of homelessness, providing programmes for children and parents.
All our services are free and run throughout the year.
We offer a range of services for children & their families.
- Our youth programmes cater for 10-13 years of age with excursions, sports, art and homework support.
- We provide study support for secondary school students- English & Maths
- We also run educational programmes and family learning sessions for younger children and their parents/guardians.
We help in finding schools for children and liaise with teachers and home-school liaison workers to support children in their education.
We also run an Outreach Children’s Book Club where we bring books and colouring packs around to emergency accommodation in Dublin city.
Families in emergency accommodation can self-refer to our programmes or key workers can contact us. Social workers and schools can also refer families in need of our service.
