Foundations Project works specifically with students accessing homeless support services and provides adult education courses, as well as advice on education and employment options available throughout the city.
All our courses are free and run throughout the year.
We offer a range of options from short 6-week ‘taster’ courses, through to QQI certified courses where students can complete a module in 3-4 months or multiple modules in an academic year. Subjects typically include Computers, Digital Photography, Settlement Skills, Art, ESOL, Social Studies etc. Some short courses are provided on an outreach basis in hostels too.
We also help students to prepare for college and work in partnership with Liberties College on part-time courses in Social Studies.
We offer one-to-one information and advice and have information on courses all around the city, students can just drop in to us any morning, or phone to make an appointment.
